About to start college.?

I pretty much am an organization freak and I like to know what I'm going to need before I get there. As far as binders and dividers and notebooks go what should I get? Do you carry a backpack and a laptop case or just one? What does your dorm room desk consist of? Just all the basics, every little bit helps and if you have store recommendations, that'd be nice. Thanks!
