Brown or Cornell University?
You should aim for SAT 1 scores of 2150+ for Cornell, probably higher, say 2200 for Brown. A previous poster said that you should target a perfect score in order to qualify for scholarship money. Ivy League schools do not offer merit based aid.....so even if you had a perfect 2400 and a 4.0 GPA, you will not be offered a dime unless you can demonstrate that you qualify for need based financial aid. Regarding SAT IIs, I would target scores in the 750+ range. The reason for the higher scores here is because you can pick those subjects in which you excel. Again, the earlier posting minimizing the importance of SAT II scores is incorrect. The schools you are targeting require a minimum of 2 SAT IIs for a reason. Most admissions committees acknowledge the fact that SAT II scores are better predictors of future success in college and place great emphasis on those scores, especially as they relate to your intended major.
