Tell this yank what is the REAL reason to try an extinguish the Olympic flame?

We yanks have seen on our news ,people in the U K and Europe trying to extinguish the Olympic flame They claim it's to protest what's going on in Tibet.I don't that is the real reason. As we know, ALL of them ratified Kyoto,we yanks have mocked them for not living up to what they agreed to do I think the real reason they were trying to extinguish the flame was to fight global warming What do y'all think
