What books do you recommend from my summer reading list?

I recomend Girl with a Pearl earing by Tracy Chevalier. I think it has an excellent storyline and I loved the book. Not going to give anything away except that there is a romantic part to the story as well as a few sad parts. All in all, loved the book and I think you should read it.
