Some noteworthy spiritual thing in your life worth commenting on?

I'm a kid in my Evangelical Sunday School cl and the teacher starts talking about how the earth is not as old as scientists claim. She says it's only a few thousand years old. I raise my hand and ask "What about dinosaur bones & carbon-dating?" She says the bones and all science are the devil lying to us. For me, this was a life changing spiritual moment - the realization that these people are either liars, crazy or dumb.
