General Practitioner, Family Practice, Walk-In or Urgent Care clinic. That is very much within their scope of practice. It is what they do. Everyday care. Wise move to not go to the ER, because it is not an immediate life-threat and therefore not an emergency. It shouldn't require the care of a specialist.
